Learning Providers
The Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance (BAF) combines theoretical study with practical experience to develop skills highly valued by employers and universities.
Throughout the development process a range of stakeholders were consulted, key stakeholders included higher education institutions (HEIs), colleges, schools, training providers and employers.
Employers were consulted to ascertain the knowledge and skills they considered were required within the Diploma in order to ensure employment opportunities at the completion of the Diploma (see report in downloads section).
Higher Education Institutions were consulted to ensure the content at level 3 was suitable to enable learners to progress into higher education (see report in downloads section).
The BAF Diploma is designed to appeal to a range of learners including very capable students, those who respond better to practical tasks and students preparing for employment, higher education or work based learning.
The Diploma has been designed to offer a high quality, innovative blend of general education and applied learning that will enhance the learning experience.
The Diplomas are part of a national programme to provide young people between the ages of 14-19 with more options, to motivate and encourage them to continue learning for longer.
The BAF Diploma offers learners a high quality, industry relevant learning experience by combining practical skills development with theoretical and technical knowledge and understanding. As with all Diplomas, the BAF Diploma will, enable learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and transferable skills that they need to go on to employment, college or university.
